Web Auction Brokerage Inc. (WAB) was founded in early 2000 to provide eBay auction selling services on a consignment basis to individuals and companies. To accomplish this mission, WAB developed a proprietary software system to facilitate sales on the eBay venue. This system includes:
- Digital photo techniques that allow the very rapid production of catalog quality photos of items to be offered for sale. These techniques provide an integrated system of digital camera, background, lighting and photo editing software that can produce 6 photos of an item for sale in less than 5 minutes, including the upload of finished photos to the WAB web site. Professional quality photography is the backbone of our eBay selling system.
- Maintaining item information in a proprietary WAB database. This allows us complete control of our eBay listing format and allows us to manage the eBay selling process with minimal manual intervention. We can start 100 auctions out of our database using the eBay File Exchange tool in less than 5 minutes.
- Proprietary fulfillment techniques that accurately calculate packaging cost and packed weight based on item size, weight and fragility. Using this information plus an online link to UPS, WAB provides accurate packaging and shipping cost quotes in real time.
- A simple, straight-forward eBay listing format that puts the item to be sold in front of the potential buyer with no distractions and lets the high quality photos tell the story.
- A fulfillment system that lets the buyer pay directly online through a secure link to Authorize.Net with VISA, Master Card, American Express or Discover.

During its 11 years of operation, WAB has accumulated an eBay feedback score of over 11000 with a positive feedback of over 99%. We have sold nearly 30,000 items. We typically have 400-500 items listed on ebay at any given time.
Since the Fall of 2002 WAB has also functioned as a high-tech equipment brokerage. WAB procures surplus equipment from Silicon Valley high-tech companies through direct purchase and auction sales and resells that equipment on eBay.
